Welcome back to our weekly blog post we've had another great week here at Japonica, we are glad to see more people are interacting each week with our blog post and we hope this trend continues.
Following our previous blog we had a great Easter bank holiday we saw plenty of regular and new customers who of which grabbed themselves some great bargains, making way for new and exciting stock. We had a smaller delivery at the start of the week with some lovely palm trees along with smaller laurels that where ordered for a customer. The more exciting delivery followed in the latter part of the week, it was full of colour including the first geraniums of the season which are looking stunning. Please come down and take a look.
One of the jobs that stood out this week that is not in are usual undertakings of the week was washing the machinery. We like to keep all of our kit in good order and presentable, everything from our trucks that get valeted inside and out every month all the way down to our forklift and conveyors etc. As can be seen by the photo below we pressure washed our digger in order to remove the build up of dust and mud picked up from the yard. This enables us to them check the machine over for any problems and then re-grease it. As much as this is not the most interesting job its essential in the longevity of our machinery.
We would also like to give a mention to both the ladies who work in the nursery who you would have all seen. Both Linda and Debbie have worked there socks of this week to not only manage the nursery, serving customers and keeping it looking tidy but also on top of that putting out the latest deliveries which can be rather physical work ! So just a big Thankyou to them.
